Situated 7 Km. from Dehradun on the Delhi road is the famous temple of Chandrabadni (Gautam Kund). According to the legend, this place was inhabited by Saint Gautam, his wife and daughter Anjani who are widely worshipped by the people.

It is believed that the daughter of heaven - Holy Ganga had manifested herself on the spot which is now popularly known as the Gautam Kund. Every year devotees, in large numbers take a dip in the holy kund. To spot is 2 km away from the main road.

Baisakhi is celebrated with great pomp and show here from 12th to 14th April every year.
