The old and beautiful city of Dehradun has an array of shopping options. Tibetian Market is one of the busiest market of the town. It is located in the center of the city, opposite to Parade Ground, near Clock Tower. One can easily reach by local bus or autos to the place.

This market has about hundreds of shops, most of which are owned by Tibetans only.

Youngsters love to shop at this place as one can buy the trendy and fashionable clothes at very reasonable rates. It also has some tibetian restaurants, where one can enjoy Chinese and Tibetian food like chowmein, momos, Thukpa, soup & Timmo etc.

Most of the shopping material is available there, from fashionable apparels to the the latest gadgets. Woolen garments like beautiful sweaters, cardigans, shawls made by the Tibetan women are the most wanted items while shopping in Dehradun.

Carpets weaved by the Tibetan refugees and utilities created out of wood, bamboo and cane that are worth buying.
