Jolly Grant Airport is the only airport located in Jolly Grant,near Doiwala.This airport is about 25 kms from the main city.It has started commercial operations from 30 March 2008.


The airport is closely located to Rishikesh ,the holy city of Dehradun,that makes it easier for the tourist to travel via air rather than train.

It takes about 20 minutes drive through the picturesque terrain to get to the town of Rishikesh and around 45 minutes to Dehradun city.

This airport could only handle small aircraft but after continuous efforts by air authority it can now handle the Airbus A320s, Boeing 737s and other aircraft in their category.

This airport is well connected to the Delhi airport.
Air Deccan operates a flight daily between the two airports.
