The Clock Tower has six faces and is the unique structure of this kind in the Asian continent. The Clock Tower was built before independence. But the clocks of the tower does not function at present since last few years.

A major landmark of Dehradun, the clock tower is constructed with brick and stone with doorways on each side of the wall. A central staircase leads to the top floor that has semicircular windows.

A clock has been placed on each of the six faces at the top of the tower, A red and buff coloured structure, the tower is adorned with cement ‘jali’ on all six sides. It also has decorative ventilators above all six doors.
